sinopsis:
Solo adalah supir taxi asal Senegal yang bekerja untuk menghidupi keluarga kecilnya di Winston-Salem, Carolina Utara. William adalah lelaki tua dengan penyesalan seumur hidup. Ia menyewa Solo untuk mengantarkannya ke tempat bernama Blowing Rock, puncak gunung dimana setiap barang yang dijatuhkan akan terbang keatas. Namun William tidak meminta perjalanan kembali sehingga Solo beranggapan bahwa lelaki tua tersebut akan bunuh diri. Solo berusaha berteman dengan William. Ia mengenalkan William kepada istirnya dan anak tirinya, Alex, dengan harapan dapat mengajarkan William tentang kebahagaian hidup dan yang terpenting mencegahnya unutk bunuh diri.
