sinopsis:
Terjadi perubahan besar pada saat unifikasi Jerman pada tahun 1990-an. Seorang ibu terserang jantung pada saat melihat anaknya melakukan demonstrasi damai di Jerman Timur. Ibunya jatuh pingsan sampai koma, dimana setelah sadar Jerman Timur negaranya telah bergabung dengan Jerman Barat. Untuk menghindari "kekagetan" ibunya atas perubahan besar, anaknya yang bernama Alexander berusaha keras dengan caranya sendiri memperkenalkan situasi yang telah terjadi di Jerman Timur. Bagaimana cara Alexander memperkenalkan perubahan tersebut? Tonton film ini, film ini sarat dengan pesan humanis dan kepolosan seorang manusia.
